Good morning, Does the age of the reefer unit matter for a straight truck if it’s maintained properly? I was told by a recruiter at Landstar it can’t be more than 7 years old but then someone’s else there said it just has to pass inspections. Kindov confusing. Thnks!

Does anyone know how much fleet owners pay there drivers at Landstar? Spoke to a couple owners who said 20% to the driver for a straight truck. This seems very low but maybe it has to do with the rates being higher? I thought 40/60 or 60/40 was the most common split. Thanks for any input, and...

Is Expediter services a good company to buy a 2018 or newer straight truck w reefer unit for Landstar? Or are there better more reputable dealers to work with. Thank you!
