As someone who just got a Class A why are you leaving the TT for a van or straight truck?

Am I wrong in assuming more money is to be made driving a TT? I see a lot of complaints about no money driving a van.

I noticed some drivers are running a van and have a CDL. Why not drive a TT? At 58 years old I recently got my CDL A and am sniffing around for a job.

I've been considering a sprinter but in reading posts I'm wonder if I would I be better off to buy a straight truck with a 16' box, under 10K than a sprinter? Is the demand higher? Would it pay better than a Sprinter?

A couple questions. If you work for someone like Bolt or any broker for that matter and are sitting waiting on a load can you get a load from a load board or other source to get you down the road if your running under the broker's authority? What if you have your own authority as well? Also...
