    yes a solo can run it that way because you would not have co driver logging sleeper while the vehicle is in motion. and you as a single log off duty instead of sleeper when stopped.

    it is not legal to have a sleeper inside your box so you could not run a team. however if you are a single you could get away with using it while stopped. just log off duty instead of sleeper.

    2018 ford f-350 quad cab drw 4x4 6.7 power stroke. I run flatbed hotshots. but they do the sprinter type vans and box trucks also. did not see any sleeper units in the box trucks so do not know for sure that they have any sleeper units So running teams may not be an option in the straights...

    call enterprise commercial truck they do 6 month 1 year and up to 4 year leases on trucks. last year I spent over 20k replacing engine and tranny on a hotshot pickup truck. plus seemed like at least 1k per month before engine replacement. now less than 15k per year I will get a new truck...

    Are you running with your own authority? Or leased to a carrier. If you are leased dispatch should be provided. 5% is kinda average for a dispatch service. But really be careful who you use. And make sure to do billing yourself and then pay your dispatcher.

    Glad you are enjoying it. the difference between company driver and o/o in this segment is more than enough to offset the cost of a hotel. I only mention it because you mentioned the parking problem. lots of hotels that have truck parking.

    I am sorry I should of said a 550 empty weight is a little over 5 tons. gcwr of my set up is 45,500 I plate it for 44,000 but 9 out of 10 loads I do are less than #5000. my radius is unlimited.
