    dodge sprinters 2007

You will find that the major problem for repairs on the Sprinter is the availability of a tech to work on them. Most shops that I have gone to (easily over a dozen), have only one or two techs and 4 or 5 Sprinters in front of you. I broke down in Miami on a Friday and they could not get to it...

    GM vans 6.0 vs 5.7

I have a 2000 5.7, a 2002 5.7, and both get 14.7 to a gallon. Fuel filter on both went out at 180,000. Older one replaced trans at 280,000, 2002 has 260,000 and is strong. My 2005 and 2006 both have 6.0 in them and they are both 10 foot refer boxes. 2005 has 120,000 miles on it and just...

    Sprinter Van Question

I also had problems with headlights, bought about 4 bulbs before I went to Dodge to get a Mercedes bulb and have had no problems since. Expensive but works. As for the turbo relay, you are correct. No problems with loss of power for about 60,000 miles since it was replaced. Took about a...

    Sprinter Van Question

Mark, I went thru loss of power for the first 80,000 miles. You are right saying that a sprinter is not an expedite vehical. The fuel milage does not make up for loss of work due to over 100 days lost the first year and several unkept promisses by dealers and Dodge. They have replaced...

    SPRINTER PROBLEMS, ANYONE?

I have a Sprinter and have listed my problems.Over 130 days in shop 8 EGR valves, generators, turbo's etc. Anything they are telling you about EGR problems being fixed is false. I was at a dealer in Marietta Ga last week and 5 Sprinters of all years in for EGR valves. The problem with the lemon...

    Sprinter updates:good,bad &ugly

I bout my Sprinter in Sept and have 26000 miles on it. Have gone through 4 EGR valves, 2 belts and 1 air compressor. They determined that the belt problem was from a smooth pulley that was supposed to have grooves in it. :( :( :(

Am doing alot of shopping for a truck that suits my needs. Was looking at the GMC 3500 cutaway 6.0, but to add the 16 foot refer box would cut too much into the gvw. Any suggestion.:) :)
