    Hino turbo

I can't comment on the cost for the turbo but I had to remove the turbo on my Hino to replace the orings behind the oil filter housing and total time for me to remove and reinstall the turbo was 3 hours. If I would have had air tools it would have been even less .

In Ohio, as long as its under 26k, even if it has air brakes, you don't need a CDL. When I first started in a straight truck, I thought the same, but looked up the rules, here is the link: ODPS | BMV | Frequently Asked Questions I don't know if it will come up right, but you will see the...

Best straight truck on the market?

The company I run for has a couple of 2012 Freighliners with the Cummins engine in them, both of them have had issues with not starting, one had all of the injectors replaced under warranty. And I drove the other one this week into Canada (working on my truck) and its probably going to have the...

What are you going to do ?

Yes that is a good point, I'm sure their reasoning was that the typical truck runs way more miles than your average car, which would wear it out faster and would be replaced anyway. One point to make is that if you only make one or two trips to CA every year, you can register with CARB, and...

Ouch, been there done that, first time by the time I got to the hospital and into the catscan, the stone had passed and it was over. The second time it happened I didn't get so lucky, a couple of days after I passed the stone, I was back in pain, ended up with a kidney infection, spent the night...

What are you going to do ?

I wouldn't worry about a natural gas mandate, the emissions from a CNG equipped truck and a 2010 MY diesel engine are pretty close, especially when it comes to the emission that was targeted with the SCR, which is NOx. when it comes to CO2, the natural gas engine is 25% less. Right now, a CNG...

What are you going to do ?

I take it you all run trucks that are over 26k? If you are under 26k, you still have time for CA, as a 05/06 truck would good until January 1st 2021

Just out of curiosity does your van use a little bit of coolant? If it does that might explain why one side is clogged and not the other, might have a tiny head gasket leak.

Have them pull the oxygen sensor out on that side and take it for a ride, it will be loud as hell and set a code for the sensor being removed but if the misfire is gone you know the converter is clogged.

September locations... Farewell summer of '13

Well my load to California turned out to be 4 small cases that totaled 400 lbs. I could have fit them in my car, and they are paying full large straight rates because they have it as needing a liftgate. That's ok, I will take it, the last time I was in California with this truck I got a load out...
