    TriState & Caterpillar

If you dislike Tri-State, which it seems from your post you are very angry at for some reason, imagined or real, why not go to a different carrier. I wouldn't want to stay with a carrier I felt twas abusing me and my peers? I personally am not seeing the exploitation your speaking of. :rolleyes...

During home time, how safe is your truck?

We live a little under 2 miles from the FJ in Reseca GA (I-75 exit 320) so we park the truck there when we go home for a few days. I think it is a safe location however either my husband or myself checks on the truck everyday.

    TriState & Caterpillar

If your with Tri-State you must be a van or a solo because I can't see you only getting 3000 miles since Jan 1st. Our worst week was last week when we got stuck in Dallas, we only got a little under 900 miles for the week. We are averaging 1500 to 2000 miles a week this year. Yes that is bad but...

    Killer Truck Drivers

I get told that I don't "look" like a truck driver all of the time. It is a constant. For instance when the insurance and ticket repair saleswomen are plying their trade at the truckstop they never try to sell to me. One day a woman at a FJ told me I did not look like a truckdriver so out of...

    TriState & Caterpillar

Tri State is no slower than Panther, Fed Ex or Express One. We regularly keep in contact with teams from Panther, Fed Ex, Express One, RJR and Nations Express. We are doing about the same as the Panther, Fed Ex and Express One trucks. Remember it always appears the grass is greener on the other...

How does your truck/fleet owner rate?

OH NO inkasnana! You want the upper bunk, believe me I know! See, when the hubby starts getting mouthy (they all do, even the best of'em) you can relagate him to the top bunk. See, I don't have anywhere tp throw his blanket and pillows when I want to 'get my own way. Boy, does he take...

    fuel surcharge LOL

I've noticed the FSC we have been getting on loads actually cover appoximately one half the fuel need to deliver the loaded miles given. When calculating to get the percentage I use only the loaded miles given.
