After 8 1/2 years with Load One, today was my last day. I am officially retired from van expediting, and time for the next journey to begin. I'll still be out on the road, only now driving a 18 wheeler :bobtail: Good luck to all, and watch the ice at the yard... Stepped out of my Sprinter...

Ended up with a 3rd load yesterday. Lot of bids, but nothing so far for Friday. I must have exceeded the weekly load quota ;)

Seems like I've been having too many 1st time things happening to me lately :rolleyes: Today's WTH moment... At the pump at Pilot fueling up. The pump handle clicks off full. Then the fuel line pops off from the connector above my head, I jump back to avoid being hit by the hose...

Waiting to load in Salem, VA. Can't complain about a pickup 2 miles away ;) Delivers Monday to a undisclosed location. Had this one going down to the last second before accepting. I have a doctors appointment on Monday. It will be a little tight, but I think it will work out :rolleyes:

Personally, I'd lease with a carrier that took care of that for me ;)
