I think post offices are a losing proposition...even with all Canada's cuts...last year they even lost money for the first time....the electronic age is here to stay....the mailman will go the way of the milkman and breadman.....

agreed....but the act of selling postal services, lke stamps and picking up parcels and stuff is ALL privatized......the salting of highways and most plowing same thing....the government has now shed millions of dollars in liabilities...like pension funds and accident insurance....

Are Americans opposed to privatization of state and federal services? Being from Canada and Ontario....a whack of government workers are no more...thru privatization...postal workers, DOT, waste collection.

That is the thing Sky....People have to realize the goal of any shipper/company is NOT to go expedite...it is expensive and prohibitive....Better inventory control/shipping habits should really cut into our job... We;ve been referred to sometimes as the ambulance of freight....well if people...
