    The Current State of Expediting

I've had a hand calculated 26+ over two tanks of back to back 50-55 mph Keep an eye on the rearview if you try this

Couldn't have said it better, FlyingVan! Incidentally I've been playing with KeepTruckin for HOS. I've dropped my idea of moving up in size of truck. Waiting 3 hours to get loaded (like today) won't get any better (likely worse) and I need to be able to get home in an emergency situation. It...

TIL my company is authorized to carry explosives and firearms. I might be updating my vehicle. It's becoming a full time side job to maintain standards. And if I was an inspector, I'd be giving my vintage sprinter the once over...

    Insurance

Nobody will be saving on commercial insurance. Thank a trucker. The amount of high profile accidents going on over the past year or two is insane. I've been following on youtube and trucking websites. While entertaining to watch as a youtube video, the real human costs and accompanying...

May Be Loads 4 You & Banter

That's my experience, the AOC (aircraft on ground) means don't go sightseeing until unloaded, but the rates are fine My 2 weeks pay came in, back to making my entire sprinter purchase price every month (paid 2900 US april 2016) No its not busy, I just had 3 very good runs

    Newbie Nissan NV3500

If you're willing to hit the bricks and find your own shippers, totally different ballgame. I don't know if I've ever met an expediter that did that, they all try and get rich off the "load boards"

May Be Loads 4 You & Banter

I lived. Hazmat was well packaged in a large crate. Hazmat was not however at a location with a ramp. I steered the front of a 1600 lb skid and had to lift it off my wheelwell when it got stuck. Then proceeded to sleep for 15 hours after I got home and unwound with some youtube hazmat videos...
