I think Penske would have a cow if I took the radiator out of the truck LOL:eek: Meanwhile my road warrior loaner with 303K on it has nice and cold ac and runs well, they can leave me in this truck as far as I am concerned, oh BTW it is a 2006, that is some serious mileage for a daycab straight

Well, I am in a loaner truck an International with 304,000 miles on it. It is rare that Penske keeps one that long, but I have to say it runs well and the AC blows cold so I am happy. May not be the prettiest truck but it works:D Looks like a true road warrior LOL

I to wear the 5.11 cargo's they are great pants and hold up well. I two types, all cotton for winter and a polyester cotton blend for the summer. The price on them are very reasonable and they seem to last for a long time.

What's worse is all the heat that comes up through the floor in my straight truck I am sure vans are just as pleasant. Might have been 87 outside but felt like over 100 inside:eek: The floor is hot enough to nearly burn your hand. I no longer set my lunchbox down there unless I need to cook...

I agree, Ground/Home Delivery treats their contractors like employees. This is one reason I left after the first year. Custom Critical you have to right to take or not take a delivery, you have the right to work your own hours, this is not the case in the Ground world. If you want a day off...

Sitting at penske. Overheated and shut down. Then my tranny lost final gear. The truck overheated, but I am hot, AC FAN QUIT WORKING Just picked it up from shop on Friday and it is doing everything I took it in for. I took it for a nice long 600 mile test drive today :o(
