This is kinda what is happening already, the truck I just got is a 2011 but has a 2009(new) engine in it. This allowed my truck to be cheaper and not have to meet the new 2011 standards. I guess the laws allow this.

I am sure if I driver shows up and is dressed unprofessional or is dirty or smelly, some places might complain, then dispatch would know, not sure if they have a place for notes in dispatch though. Same would be said if the driver acted unprofessionally.

I don't wear or own ties and even at a wedding or funeral you would see me in a polo shirt and nice slacks. I have always hated having anything on my neck and can't even wear a turtle neck.

Since we have International Navistar here in Fort Wayne, In for the time being untill they pack up and move to Lisle, IL I have seen them testing a cab over tractor, I have seen it all over town. Are cabovers coming back? Who knows. I've seen all kinds of trucks being tested around here.

Yeah, a tie with a t-shirt would get chuckles. I also know everytime the UPS guy comes in at Towne there are chuckles due to his socks with the UPS logo on them. A little overboard in my opinion. Then again some wear "Those Shorts":eek:

I agree looking nice and not wearing a dirty holey shirt/or clothes makes a good impression. But wearing a tie with a polo shirt? Come on now:eek:

I normally, don't eat breakfast. My travel mug of coffee and I am good to go. That will change though. My wife and I are starting a diet when she gets back from a business trip and it is strict and you must eat breakfast. Good Morning Transporter and it's Cheerios :D
