Mine's a Ford E350 Extended with 7.3 ... tho with maintenance costs.. some days I wish I had a gasser.. LOL. Love the 20+ mpg tho, and it hauls 2000+ with ease. Dale

I think it's all in the wording and what you're told up front. I have seen contracts that were X % for up to 2000 miles, etc.. then a 5% bonus for miles OVER 2000 etc... Never seen one that you LOST % for NOT running something.. but it sounds like you had the same deal but just wern't told...

I'm all for making more money, but I have to question running a 900 mile load straight thru.... I'd rather have 2 450 mile runs with a break than 900... I'm good for about 700 or so straight... Maybe I'm just a wimp :) or gettin old.. :p Dale

I'm proud to say I'm one of the charter members of the site, and been hangin out here off and on since then. What a difference, and how it's grown. One small page competing with several has grown into On Time Media, and several sites, a print magazine, and a trade show. Not a bad growth...

Please use this thread to post what you are THANKFUL for in Expediting? Me, I'm glad I have a job! The income may not be as much as it was... but I have several family members who are layed off right now from their 'good, responsible, benefit paying jobs'' who would LOVE to have the income...

There are many types of handicaps, some are not as visible as others. I know many who have been handicapped, and could do work as long as they were standing still, and could even climb up on their truck. The rules for handicapped placards are not TOTAL disability, but some functional...

I've had a couple go in late, when they were in box with plenty of time. Next time, I put something in box on Tues night and it made it for Wed cutoff.. go figure.. :) After the first 2 weeks of switchover, no probs. Dale
