    well, it's my turn

I'm surprised the states haven't tried to take advantage of the extra income more tags and a longer season could provide. Posted with my Droid EO Forum App

Changing Carriers and Thanks to EO Members

You can consider my opinion biased but I have booked my own loads and spent a considerable amount of time in dispatch areas helping and watching. I also worked as a CSR for Verizon Wireless for a year and a half so I took some angry and nice calls. There is some frustration on the dispatch side...

Mississippi voters reject life at conception amendment

Religious people will vary on when they consider the fetus alive. If you go by the Bible which says blood is life that would mean the fetus is alive about 2 weeks after conception so the morning after pill is allowed. Posted with my Droid EO Forum App

I am going out with my brother for some retraining for the next few weeks. My wife is going to stay in the van to see if we can keep it making a little money. I hope we can get enough money together for our own TT or ST. Posted with my Droid EO Forum App

    Question on yearly net income.

Are you getting numbers like that? 2,000 miles a week at $1/mile, if you are please let me know. Or are you are trying to stir up trouble and mislead people, a few extra vans won't hurt the industry as there are to many already. Posted with my Droid EO Forum App

    Question on yearly net income.

If it is anything close my wife will be taking the van there without a doubt. It would be nice even if she had a steady 1200 miles per week but I would approach this very cautiously. Posted with my Droid EO Forum App

    Question on yearly net income.

Notice the ad combines tractors, straight trucks, and vans together. You will see this happen a lot, it came up in another thread that my company advertises no QC fees, that only applies to the trucks, I believe the miles in this ad are the same. The second issue is it says you get 70%, well 70%...

    Ron Paul: Befriend Iran.....

This all boils down to power and control, you need to have an enemy to stay in power and control people. Ahmadinejad is doing that now by using the US and Israel as Iran's enemies and causing fear amongst people that an attack is about to happen, unfortunately he may be right. We are giving him...

    Question on yearly net income.

It may seem odd but it is the love of a lifestyle. Why did cowboys do the same in the old west? If you want further proof that van owners aren't doing as well as company truck drivers I can tell you I am on my last van load for awhile and I am going to be getting back in a truck this week. Is it...

    Question on yearly net income.

Are you joking or is that serious? If you are serious what companies told you that you would get that many miles? Not only would you be doing well making $20-30k in a van, you would be doing much better than all the ones that went under on those same promises from recruiters. Posted with my...

    Bolt

To opt out you would have to carry a policy for liability and cargo insurance with a deductible no greater than $5000. I am going to see if I can add this through CIS cheaper because I didn't see cargo insurance covered by my policy or if paying Bolt is cheaper. Posted with my Droid EO Forum App

    Job Search

I would call Express 1 or Panther, you will hear both good and bad about these companies. If you are concerned about not getting paid you will want to be looking up information on the fleet owner because he is the one that actually pays you. Posted with my Droid EO Forum App

    Bolt

When this came up before I believe it was Mr. Elliot that explained O/O's didn't need it because they are based in MI and that only people that drove for a fleet owner were required to have it. Posted with my Droid EO Forum App
