2017 Ford Transit Rear Differential Problems

If you buy a Promaster you will never ever have a problem with the rear end. I promise. Lol. Sent from my LG-H918 using Tapatalk

Josh, remember that you are the captain of your ship. When that white stuff gets too iffy, park it and let dispatch know. Do not let anyone bully you. No load is more important than your lives. If something were to happen they wouldn't have any problem blaming you for it and letting you go. Oh...

    Hey everyone hows it going?

My suggestion is to get your CDL B license, drive an owner's straight truck for 6 months at least and then get your own. Done the van thing for 10 years, now in a straight for 1.5 years. Should have gone to a straight long time ago. Sent from my LG-H918 using Tapatalk

    The Hunt for Roadbed October

There is, for sure, but you might need to wait a few days. We are just not used to waiting like the vans do. Sent from my LG-H918 using Tapatalk

Tell you guys something. Don't take it the wrong way. I hear in your posts that you don't like Mississippi for some reason, then something else about Texas, now you don't like California and it is the last... In this business you want to do what others are not willing or able. There are places...

    ELD''s in cargo/sprinter vans

I've hauled plenty placardable loads in my Sprinter. It all depends on the shipper. I was once at a shipper that didn't want to load one drum of paint which wasn't placardable because of no separation. Sent from my LG-H918 using Tapatalk

    October banter and locations.

So, I brought this 'super hot' load to Mercedes in Vance, AL, breakdown of some sort, even the shipper didn't fail to inform me that the load was very hot. So I got here and everybody was at lunch. Was told to back into a certain dock and wait. Well, there was someone else in that dock. So I was...

    October banter and locations.

It has been almost 2 years since I left CRE in my Sprinter to check out the straight truck business. So I don't claim to know what rate Murray runs the vans at now, but when I was there my all miles rate was waaaay better than .50 a mile. I wouldn't have run at that rate. Btw, I left Murray to...

    ELD''s in cargo/sprinter vans

If you haul placardable hazmat in a van you need to log. Would you need an ELD for those loads? My guess is yes. Sent from my LG-H918 using Tapatalk

    Truck overheating

By the location you mention guess would be the water pump also, but that does not explain the oil mixed in with the coolant. Do you have coolant in the oil or oil in the coolant in the engine? Might be a blown head gasket. Ugh.

Pros and cons of camper hauling vs straight truck expediter

Landstar's load board is mostly intended for big trucks. You will find straight truck loads there once in a while but it is usually cheap freight. Sent from my LG-H918 using Tapatalk

FedEx CC used to be every 6 months, Landstar every 4 months. FedEx made you pay for it, Landstar paid for it if you passed. Sent from my LG-H918 using Tapatalk
