Yeah and besides that my average speed is around 60 when out west which is where I've been last 2 weeks so I have been squeezing 600 a day. Love it out in mt,wy,sd, and id since there is little traffic I can do 600 to 650 a day. That won't happen out east.

Yea it is. I get around 3500 miles a week solo which is awesome. And all of this is logged legal although some guys out here argue that because I run paper logs I am somehow cheating them.

Well not really. Logging isn't hard it is trying to make money with all the regs. I don't have that problem now that I'm with a small 10 truck company that pays me better than any other driving job I've had. Oh and I run legal too.

And nah life doesn't suck having to log. I make more money running legal than I would driving a cv.

I think everyone at some time nods at the wheel. I mean just driving through sd,wy, and mt will cause you to fatigue quickly. Whether I sleep 2 or 10 hours as long as I have required 10 hour break its my business. If I get that tired ill pull over but don't put me oos because you saw me yawn.

We had one in our prostar straight truck when I drove local. It was very nice for backing in to tight allies in downtown Memphis. Depth perception was a little decieving but you should always get out and look first any way. The cameras are really only good to watch after the backing has started...

Day cab doesn't have sleeper. That's why they call them day cabs. Mostly just used for running local areas. If used Otr drivers get hotel rooms.
