I wouldn't sleep in one of these unless it had the roof top window opening like this one. Much better design here by Lamar. Synergy upfit also quoted me $5500 for the sleeper pictured on the promaster and $13500 for the cargo box!
Like the other user said narrow for city streets and also everything pretty much keep it like a regular Sprinter just taller and a square box as opposed to curved walls so essentially more cubic ft and use-able space.
Saw a transit last week in the east bay on the 580 with one of these boxes. Looked very nice and wasn't too wide. Few inches wider then cab on each side.

Sprinters are no difference to maintain if you know where to go and do some of your own work. Stay away from the dealership unless purchasing wholesale parts. Promaster is garbage from what I've heard have you seen any with over 500k?
Imagine showing up in this with no customer complaints. They wouldn't offer a cab chassis Transit Promaster or Sprinter if that was the case. I need maximum cargo space and have outgrown my 158 wb and need to look at possible options. I like what Volens and Synergy are doing bringing new ideas...
Is it possible in today's market to get .90 to $1 a mile on a extended Transit or Sprinter? 2015+ yr model? I'm assuming a % carrier would be the way to go.
This is perfect width and height just needs to be longer 16 or 18ft.
