I had the same problem w/FL70 & now have a starter button on the dash,it's real easy to hookup,run a wire from the fusebox to the button & another from the button to the solenoid,end of problem.

FWIW almost 6yrs ago I bought an off lease 24'FL70 off Ryder w/191K mi. & it's been real dependable.I have to go to Wy & Tx once a yr & we haul our own freight w/it every month..They gave me the service records from day one.

Mine says 72 on the printout for the ecm but the speedo is off & gps says 69,but I usually run 62-63.

That probably happened because of the Chinese quality control.I saw some boxes recently that had "Made in Cina" on them so if they can do that nothing would surprise me!
