Glen Rice thanks for the reply. For the last 2 years I've been driving 55 mph in California. Guess I'll be able to make better time crossing California now driving the car speed limits on the interstates.;)

What is the speed limit for a straight truck with 2 axles on the interstates in California. I've been told it's the posted car speed limit.

Georgia weight limit for single drive axle is 18000 plus 13 percent. What is 13 percent of? Gross weight of truck or load?

I've been using DeLorme Streets Atlas USA 2003 with GPS for about 6 months now. It's very accurate. Hopefully the next version will have Canada streets also. Joey

Vernon thanks for the advise. Yes they cannot help us with our choises anymore instead of will not because I think my coordinator would help if she could. We can also move between express centers now and be automatically authorized without calling in under this new system.

We arrived authorized to our first choise on Sunday and our contract coordinator will not tell us anything about what is expected out of this area or what trucks are in front of us. This sure is not going to help us new drivers out here.

We've been with FedEx CC since 14 Oct now and FedEx CC has kept us very busy.
