i totally agree hawk and thats why i want options thats why i want to do it with a company first stack my money and then do it for myself thats why im asking for companies that will allow me to come on with a shorter trailer
well to answer your ? it must be the company you are with my company has limited tt loads as far as i have been told by the tt drivers i talk to i asked when i first came on would i do better with a tt or straight was told straight that is why im thinking about getting a smaller trailer because...
because im tired of trying to find parking for it as well as manuevering it around i have driven 1 for 9 years as well as 28,32 40,45, and 48 love the shorter length ones for convience and manueverability i can pull a 28 or 32 fter into a mcdonalds parking lot and not get told to move
looking to use either a 28,32 or 40 ft van with liftgate or without.currently in a straight truck will be purchasing tractor and trailer as soon as i can get a company that will lease that size van trailer have 9 yrs of 48/53 fters but dont want that headache any more.enjoy the straight truck...

Very true for a person like me who has 9 yrs over the road it would seem like a very good idea his friend thought of everything he is running a 32ft pup with super single wide tires(6) tires total reefer and liftgate it might just catch on for class a license drivers that want to pull a shorter...
its dock high and he has a sleeper 70 inch condo and he isnt run doubles with it his didnt have a liftgate but his buddy with the 32fter does have a lift-gate and yes he asked to be run as a straight truck but he says he gets alot of tractor trailer freight and pay and it is lot easier to get...
