>I have my own authority and one cargo van. It is working
>great for me.If you live in an area with some manufactoring
>that does some expedite loads you can make this work.I
>deadhead home after every run and still make good money.
that is why I said 50% deadhead.I can see it working for...
my brother ran for them and I went along for a few days
it seemed like every run was under 300 miles and the pay sucked I dont know how often they get you home he didnt stay long enough to find out.half the trailers was junk that i seen but they went to rail yards so maybe thats why.if your...
most companies keep putting on more trucks cause each week they need to replace the ones that had enough sitting and cancel there contract.
this way they maintain a balance or the revolving door if you will.
alot of contractors think the grass is always greener on another side
so they switch...
you dont need decking to find loads for a 22'
sometimes you can put together 2 or 3 ltl shippments that will pay more per mile than what you get for an expedite but there is more work involved you have to make 2 or 3 picks and drops but these type shippments will get you back into the midwest...

Ive thought about this all night my problem t-hawk is my box is only 96" wide inside so I think im gonna have to stick with traditional decking.
I far as I see I could either cut me a couple small sections of e-trac and mount them on each side at the top in front and put the extra load bars and...
yes t-hawk please do keep me informed on this. going to try and do this over the next couple weeks while im waiting on the new authority and insurance filings.
I found progressive is now writing commerical truck insurance so I got a qoute from them its only going to cost $1,800 to get it...
I know its a little extra work but you can carry decking in a 24' truck and carry 48' of freight it just takes some extra load bars and sections of plywood.
if your gonna do this get a truck wit swing doors
I would take the truck back to him or panther get put on the list of available drivers and before your time off is up Im sure you will have a new owner.
if you only took 2.5 weeks off in 5 months your ok in my book its unreasonable to expect someone to work that much even if they are single...
