I am a 51 year old Owner/Operator of a small 14ft. box truck. I am based in Mukilteo, WA in the Greater Seattle/Northern Puget Sound region. I drive Local/Intercity, Regional/Pacific Northwest and Interstate/Long-Haul/OTR, but of all those, I prefer Long-Haul/OTR the most. I am relatively new to trucking, at least as an independent Owner/Operator. I began delivery driving more-or-less full-time in November of 2019, driving mainly for the likes of Uber Eats, DoorDash and GrubHub. But in May of 2021, I discovered "Curri" which was an app based program focused on Commercial/B2B and I quickly realized I preferred that over any kind of consumer/residential delivery. Working with Curri led me to discover the Sprinter Van/Box Truck world and in July of 2021, I upgraded my main rig from a small SUV to a small box truck and almost immediately sought ought the even bigger world of Interstate Trucking by forming an LLC, and applying for my USDOT, MC and all the other required certifications. My authority became active in early September of 2021, but an accident at a construction site delayed my entry into driving OTR until late October. I drove OTR for a month, then returned home to work locally and regionally until after the holidays. My focus now is working mainly OTR/Long-Haul. I LOVE being on the road and traveling the country. I LOVE being more-or-less "Free" and Independent and I LOVE being part of the solution that keeps this country moving!
