I work for Frito Lay Pepsi Cola Canada as a fleet mechanic, we work on Ford E-350 (2007-2010), Dodge and Mercedes Sprinter 3500's (2009-2013), Ford Transit 350 5cyl Diesel's (2014+), Hino 268 (2010, 2011) Hino 308 (2006) and International 4200, 4300, VT365, DT466, MaxxforceDT (2004-2014)
I am also a former GM tech of 14years, Grand Master bronze tech multiple years, and transmission specialist for almost 10 of those years.
Prior to GM I started the trade working for Metro Transmission, a shop in Toronto Canada (now out of business) and that's where I learned to build, I learned on Chrysler 404 and 604 transmissions, and then learned more specifics when at GM usually working on 4T65e, 4L60/65/75e, 4L80/85e 6T35/45, 6T75, 6L70/80/90 ect..... I don't miss the warranty rape of the dealerships and am glad I got away from it in some ways, but I miss building. I think I'm sick in the head or something lol.
