My experience with a knock off generator wasn't that great. Didn't use it much, but shortly after the warranty expired the inverter went out. Pretty easy to change out but I wasn't able to buy one anywhere. Ended up throwing it out and buying a Yamaha. Still works to this day, more than 10 years...
