Not a Hino guy but usually P2049 is set because of a bad DEF injector. Could also be the wiring or less likely a PCM. DEF injectors require replacement quite frequently, they live a hard life.

I don't know Hino's but that is an after treatment code. It won't clear itself after just one drive cycle. Just keep on driving, it'll take a few.

I've installed a good many a DB starter. However never in a Hino. They don't looked to be the best quality compared to OEM but that said I've never had a problem with one yet. If it was mine i'd save the 750$.

Hey folks. Looking for a little help with my Hino. The fuel gauge quit the other day, reads empty with a low fuel warning displayed. Tank does have fuel, half full. Unplugged the sending unit, gauge reads the same. Empty. Jumped the two wires at sender, gauge slowly rises to full. Boom figure...
