Panther & Expeditors Services. Why so slow?

When we picked up our ES truck from Richfiled, OH. Up the raod from Panther. IT WAS FILTHY. It took 2 days to clean it out. ES's response was - that they had no control over it, as the truck was serviced at the KW dealer and was mechanically sound. They (ES) NEVER see the trucks unless you...

Preferential Treatment for Expediter Services . . .

My ex-team/life partner an I had bee expediting for 2 years with Panther with another owner, we then switched over to ES and continued to drive or Panther. We got tired of Panther's foolishness and asked ES to switch us to FEDEX. We had HazMat and Govt Clearance. . We "got right in" to the...

What would you charge/expect as payment for...

Yes, hauling a friend's freight - LOL. Probably will sleep in the truck at a walmart in Knoxville. No, its not an antuque set - LOL. He has it in storage up here. Yes, it would be cheaper for him to buy new down there - but it's his idea...

    Definition of "qualified"

Thank you for the clarifiaction of "qualified". I quess my beef is actually with the fleet owner as to what they consider "qualified". Yes, there is quite a difference in driving/manuvering a TT versus a ST versus a bus. You had over the road experience in handling a truck. It is up to...

Some people take pride in upholding their companies' policies

Whenh I banked localy at a FirstMerit, they required it if you did not have an account. I seen it since then at other banks. It is used to prevent fraud. Stae ID's and DL's are easily forged.

Some people take pride in upholding their companies' policies

The thumb print thing has been around for over 8 years. Can you say "Loyal Bushies"? Obama has nothing to do with it.

    Definition of "qualified"

What is the definition of "qualified" that I see in ads for carriers? What qualifies a driver for FECC WG? Lets say someone had a CDL B and has only driven school buses, does that qualify them for a FECC DR unit?

    Cargo Van/Sprinter/B-unit

Thinking out loud here...need CONSTRUCTIVE criticism/feed back: Thinking about getting into a B-unit for FedEx (CC or Surface? Does CC use B units?). Drove ST WG unit for other owner. If I can get financing (yeah right). (Probably would have to put house up for colaterral) I would then...
