    First month in the books.

Hey all..sorry haven't been on in a long time. Yes i still exist. I left the company I was with though. Not because of pay but because of poor equipment that they did not want to fix. The money continued to be good. Any other questions?

    How Old To Old

I would say no older than a 2012..but that's just my opinion...you have to think, the older you buy the less time you'll be able to drive it before a company says it's too old for them. Try to find a used van but still new..like a 2016 with only a couple thousand miles on it.

Now I'm not saying every week is great..there is good and bad weeks. Like i said before I think my company will take a load that they won't even make money on, they just take it to keep us moving. Maybe your company isn't willing to the same.

I don't understand what your trying to say...I get .35 cents a mile for ALL loaded miles, whether the company is getting 1.50 per mile or .85 per mile....so yes, I am all about getting as many miles as I can, and could care less what the company got per mile.

I get the same pay per mile no matter what the company gets...and total dead head miles was 924.

To be honest I think sometimes my company takes loads that they will not make any money off of after expenses they just take em to keep us moving and keep us happy during the slow time of year.

I am a company driver and paid by the mile...I pay no expenses on van(just taxes and OTR expenses), so you can figure out a rough amount with that.

    First month in the books.

Well I have my first month of expediting in the books. 12,502 miles(also had 4 days home time last weekend), 1 break down, 1 winter storm, and umteen days of below freezing temps. But am I mad? Nope, it was exactly what I expected. To be honest the most annoying part to me is staying warm...

    March 2017 this and that.

Probably the funniest comment I've read on EO so far.
