Learn something new everyday. My driver got pulled over in KY today, for a random safety inspection. $142 fine...are there any other states that require you to have posted on the side of the truck?
I'd like to prevent this from happening again.

I quess you are saying you must have a seperate sticker for KY if you don't have a IRP sticker? We were stopped two weeks ago but had no problems. They gave us a dot green sticker on the window and that was about it.

Yes, you must have a KYU number on your big truck, but, only big trucks at 80,000lbs

You don't get stickers. Just a number. And, add it in where
your DOT# and MC are.

We run ky every day and do not have kyu # on trucks.

They verify that you have kyu by your mc #.

Did you have a KYU # in the first place?

If you did, Did you let Ky know what your dot and mc # are when you got the KYU?
