I don't dump to be nasty or unappreciative of this country, just an observation from an outside view in which I maybe be wrong or I maybe right. I know some gripe about Canada and some have valid critisms ..I am not going to trash them for thier comments, as Marvin did me...I am bigger then that...There is time for patroitism and time for vision and thought.

Canadians come here....

and work....

and do stuff....

and spend money...

but the BIGGEST problem is that they sometimes act like Americans

I should write a book, how to be proper Canadian while in the US.

You make a good point on the original Post all except for whoosies. See if one does what you suggest make a change it does not work withou $.

Commpanies now make our laws, with help of the lobbies. Lawyers are the filth and scum of this nation. I have never meet a truley honest one. I thought I had once but even he turned to scum.

As much as I would hate to agree with you, you give me no grounds to argue.

Example we just jailed a guy called Mr. Black here in N.C. get this last year every child entering Kindergarden had to get an eye exam to be allowed to start school. Well guess who got cought with kick backs? You got it Mr. Black, the optometric originization had its books audited with CHECKS TO MR. BLACK for what services? Thats what we wanted to know. The list went on and on but this is the one that got him put in JAIL.

I ask this why would a Politician need a $500,000.00 loan? I thought they were to serve the people. But instead they build business thru others so when they leave hey its party time....... PS this loan did not come from the eye doctors, but it did not get reported and now the IRS is demanding it become INCOME for Mr. Black.... Headlines Monday August 13, 2004 Charlotte Observor. So that darn Canadian is RIGHT.

Broom...I know your not really whoooses BUT your all kinda quiet on the matter....You mean if 250,000 people showed up on The Hill no one would pay attention?

I think spending on political campaigns should be capped...affording the little guy a chance to get on the American dream that anyone can become President. As it is the odds of winning the lottery are better!!!

yep and most of us are satisfied with the govermant we may disagree with alot of things that our goverment does but we don,t have whole provinces trying to break away and at least we don,t have to worry about a monarchy from another continent and most of us know how to spell or is whoooses another language

Now that I am a LEGAL resident of the U.S of A. I plan on becoming a citizen and will be an active voter!! More then I can say for the majority of Americans who DON'T vote!!!

I WILL voice my opinion to my elected representive!

I WILL support the laws of this country!

AND should I have a problem with the laws of this country
I WILL work to change them if I feel they are unjust!
Such is the right of every American!!

And when you guys going to learn how to spell colour and favourite?

Since you are planning to become a US citizen and a voter, I congratulate you. As a future citizen, I believe you should be aware of certain American words. One of the words being "wussy", not whooses. The term comes from being part little wimp and part big p.... Now, you don't need to thank me. As a former educator, I find that educating people is a natural action on my part. When are you guys going to learn to spell color and favorite?

Politics is a game of engagement

In order for you to change something you don’t like, to change something for the betterment of your country or to change just for the need of change, you must be involved, engaged and vocal.

Engagement means voting.... people.

Beside a bunch of other things.
