What is this "white glove" of which you speak?

Bugsy Siegel

Seasoned Expediter
Does it have something to do with Michael Jackson?

Probably not, wasn't a "sparkly white glove."

How does it differ from regular expedited, can a solo do it, and is there more work than regular expedited runs?

Thanks!

Bugsy;

"White Glove" is the term given to Fed-Ex Custom Critical's fleet of very well equipped trucks. Generally these trucks handle very expensive or sensitive type specialty freight and are paid a "Premium" rate for doing so. The Owner-operators that run their vehicles for the White Glove division are experienced, top notch drivers. Their trucks are top notch also, generally equipped with lift-gates, freight blankets, refrigeration units and so on. The White Glove division is comprised of only the finest.

Thanks,
