Warranty on the wagon..

Does anybody have any actual cost figures rebuilding a given engine? What warranties are out there today? A few years ago, I remember Cummins had a program called NOW WARRANTY..and you could rebuild a Cummins and they would warranty it for 1-2 or 300,000 miles, depending on what you had rebuilt, if I remember correctly. I´m always checking out truck prices, and about the only warranty I see is on Frieghtshaker these days. I´m talking used of course. I also see remans in different publications, but have no experience with them. I once had a turbo go out on a Cummins 400. It was a rebuilt engine in a class 8 unit. Because the truck had the NOW WARRANTY, and it transferred when I bought the truck, I got a new one for free. When I read the trucking mags, I rarely see warantied rebuilts anymore. Maybe I´m looking in the wrong place. This sounds like a question for....SUPERWEAVE!!
