I agree with Jaminjim: a BR 295/75R225 Unidirectional 227 did 185,000 and still had minimum tread of 4/32's. Irregular tread pattern just starting on outer band. Replaced (now- accident damaged sidewall of LF in Jan) both sides with BR 287's.
FYI- Belle Tire of G.R., MI. has takeoffs from Gainey, brand new, for $385 installed & balanced...
