STERLING TRUCK A/C UNIT

For those of you who have (or had) a Sterling Acterra truck with a mercedes engine, I was wondering if you had any problems with the A/C unit and if so, what were the problems and how did you get it cured without a requerence?

well i havehad two mercades engines in freightliners and in about 4 months went thru 6 condensors the last time i made sure the cleaned the whole system wen i gave it up and traded for an 06 international with a dt466 it was still working but have not heard anything for about a month

If you can find the leak on the condenser JB weld works real good on it have had that problem twice fixed both times with JB.

Nope, don't have that but I do have a 2007 Ford E 350 and the ##### air on it doesn't work. Probably the switch or something. it blows "very" minimal cold air. I'm going to have to rig something up so that I can stay out longer. I got fried today in Indy with no air at the Flying J off of 37.
