I heard another horror story today about a guy who had a fake 50 in his money that he used not knowing to pay for fuel at a truck stop ending up getting burnt up by the law. When i was 18 It was my first time invited to go train at JoeGibbsRacings private mx facility so i was soooo stoked about to meet coy gibbs and the team and hit some bigg booters and ride with the top pros since just turned amature pro. So i go to the bank get a check cashed and load the van and am wide open to statesville nc with a smile on and heavymetal blaring happy as could be ready to gripnrip it lol. So 30 miles away i stopd put 80 in fuel and head off then i iforgot to get 93 octane gas for my bike so i stopd and got 20 bucks worht in my 5 gallon can. walkinside to pay with my last 20 and the women goes this is fake . I said politely it came from bankofamerica etc im sorry ill leave my id and get some money from a buddy at the track and come back. and the cashier said sorry i caint let you do that and called local law enforcement. Next thing i know they roll the feds on me 3 to 4 sheriff cars narcotics units and then 2 us marshalls come im like uttttt ohhh. I told them my story there shaking in my shoes my first heavy run in with the feds with that kinda heat they were bringing. They werent believing me how i only had 1 20 dollar bill and it was fake and had no other cash i told them i had 100 from bank of america used 80 at station before i didnt have the receipt from the gas but my gas gauge didnt lie. and they put me in the box truck with 2 investigators interrogating while a search was going on that i was un aware about they took about 20 dif pics of me my tattoos from dif angles and when they took me out side they were like so the officers searching your van arent going to find more fake cash money printers bleach etc i was like ur kidding if i had that why would i only have one bill on me lol. but i walk with them still on a dog leash not literally but what i felt like and my van was destroyed paneling ripd off my gear in the parking lot thrown out gear back torn to peices parts boxs was emptied to the pavement and all my papers thrown every were the rubber flooring pulled out. And i plead my case and the marshal say were watching you during your visit to nc keep your phon on cuz the only reason your not getting arrested is cuz we spoke to your parents.........more talking transpired and they left and i was left to pick up the peices... about a hour and half later i had everythig back in the van and on my way to the track ended up getting on the track as the GJR team was leaving so i was super bummed. and only got a hour of riding time. but the next day was great met coy and the motor and suspension specialist . They even have a gps and a suspension sensor that measures how much travel the suspension has on each bump and jump and transfers it to computers so crazy...Never heard a word back from the feds about the situation. So words of wisdom check your bills even if they come from a bank cuz it could happen to anyone and sure would suck to be on a run near texas or bumfrickegypt and this happend .....
