A thought just occurred to me. I have always lived close to the Mississippi. I was born in Fairview Hospital in Minneapolis on the banks of the Mississippi. I grew up in south Minneapolis, about 5 miles from The River. I lived in St. Cloud for 10 years on one side of the river or the other. Once only a block away. I moved back to the Cities and lived in Blaine for a year. At about 8 miles distance, that was the furthest away from the river I have ever lived. Now I live about 3 miles from the Mighty Mississippi.
I'm not sure what that says about my life other than The River runs through it.
