Hi Twiggy,
I have Drivers who are signed up with Expediter Services, and most of them are on with FedEX,
Currently, are teams and are White Glove, and there total gross income were
1. $217,000 Most are government loads (Don't go home, except Easter, Thanksgiving and Xmas) highest in 3 years with them.
2. $125,000 1st year, 156,000 this past year.
3. other drivers Depending on what status they are- anywhere from 45,000-80,000 single, 80,000 to $250,000 Teams, Straight trucks, $100,000 to $300.000; Tractor Trailers

4. with Panther slighly under $100,000 each year 3 Teams
Remember they give both of you a 1099 MIsc, and you have to split expenses,

The Per diem is a reimbusement as a deduction for mainly Food, which actually comes out to $47.20 per day deducted, and the other primary deduction is Fuel
Remember your lease on to them using there truck, not your own and they get the $ 1.25 per truck and you get the percentage of that as your pay.

Example:

792 miles @ $1.25= $ 990.00
You get lets say 60% of that is $ 594.00
less what ever your contract says, that is deducted
Fuel, tolls, if you pay it.?
You have to split that and you recieve $ 297.00 for that load minus that

If they pay for all the expenses, except your Occupational Insurance.
your percentage is anywhere between 20%-35%, I don;t think they do a 40% to you.

You can also go on my website, http:/www.frankstaxbusiness.com and I have a complete listing of what can be deducted
If you have any other questions you can e-mail me directly or through my website.
