New Drivers Seat

I've tried searching the web and here for info on where to obtain the best price on a new seat. I've got an air ride base, I just want a nice new ergonomic seat to mount on it.

Can this be done, or do you have to buy the base too?

I guess the only way to get a slightly used one would be at the junk yard.

Any help very much appreciated.

I am really pleased with the ride, comfort level, and durability of two different seats from Seats, Inc. The first was a wide base model and my current seat is "El Camino" which I like even better. Co. is out of WI. and JXE-Peterbilt carries them at all their locations in WI-IL. Other Pete dealers have them as well- you just have to check around. Camino has manual lumbar 2-position adjustment, others have air-operated lumbar. Sold my factory National seat on consignment within two months for about $150- and Camino was appr. $350: my back was worth it. Seats,Inc. phone is 800-443-0615 Reedsburg,WI.
