We are in the business of moving some bulk food around town, including deliveries and a variety of unpalletized goods, as well as palletized goods for which we run a 24 foot M2. We are looking for another small reefer for a lot of the smaller work, but occasionally might need to pick up a few pallets that would be forklift loaded. Given what the market is we are looking for a used vehicle, and while cab overs are scarce, there are actually a good number of reefer MT 45 freightliners on the market. It looks like with some fancy dancing inside, an 18 footer with roll up door could probably ingest 5 40x44 pallets around the wheel boxes. Anyone have any first hand experience? Is this conclusion rubbish?
