Microsoft Streets and Trips querie

For anyone who has knowledge of the MS Streets and Trips, here is the problem to solve.
I use the pushpin symbols to mark specific areas on the map. As of last night everything works until I click to mark the symbol on the map, at that point it leaves no symbol. I hope this is enough information to help me.

I've had that happen to me, too. The only way I've been able to deal with it is to close the route and start again. Route it again and most times it will allow you to add the stops. I have no idea what causes it.

Thanks, that worked. I believe the error message read illegal file name or something of that sort, yet I had been using the same file name and saving to that.
