Is anyone surprised? Things like that happen in Detroit almost everytime something big happens. Sheds a wonderful light on the lack of mentallity of large numbers of big city residents. I am glad I don't live real close to one. Layoutshooter

Not living in a big city is a good thing, but we are all traveling thru them! And the DOT sayes you can't have a legal weapon to protect yourself when this SHTF!!, Well thats what they say anyhow..........

Just keep an eye out for rocks and stuff from overpasses!!

Gee, this might be one of the times I am glad that I don't have a run right now!! Nothing but REALLY bad offers since last Friday. By bad I mean $1.10per mile, OR LESS!!

I hadn't thought much about this until today and then, here it is on EO. I was just mumbling something like this to myself as I was logging on. I mumble to myself a lot because nobody listens to my opinon anyway. Especially at home. Speaking of home, it just might me a good idea to stay there for a couple of days.

I guess a person of good character is long gone....used to be a Presiden had the air of Godlyhood...unreproachable...but now you can be an alchy, an abuser...have terrorist friends....not pass the basic security standards and STILL be leader of the most powerful country of the world...scary...

Luckily, we don't have riots in Kentucky. We don't allow thugs to congregate in large numbers. Riots are mostly a phenomena of ghetto neighborhoods. Are we getting a ghetto friendly president?

Only three possible solutions to this problem and only one is legal. The legal one is to vote EVERY imcumbent out, every election. The other two are a total tax revolt (my favorite) take away the monopoly money they play with and they will go home. The last is a second revolution. I fear that an Obama election will throw us into a civil war or the second revolutoin. That is why Obama in working hard with Powell. It is a not very well hidden attempt to try to insure that the military will side with Obama if either occures. If he cannot control the military look for large numbers of "Blue Helmeted" troops to show up via Canada and Mexico. I also think that this will draw in parts of Canada. Many there are starting to get fed up with the socialists running the country. No matter what happens, if any violent solution is sought it will not be pretty. Layoutshooter

If I were still in Canada and an observer...I'd have to say America is scr=wed...everything is topsy-turvey, very unstable, IF I were an investor I'd be likely NOT to invest in U.S. based stock or commodities...

Nope not the right wingers, just a rather large minority in major cities. Just like what almost happened in Philly after the World Series. Like what has happened many times in Detroit after Pistons and Tigers championships. Not after Wings championships, I really don't understand why not. OVM, scr*wed in right. Layoutshooter

you said it was almost time to move and leave all that eastern garbage behind....and you'd be with people who believe what you believe....your wife might have a hard time being 150 miles from ANY Walmart....
