J08E Diesel question

Hi,
I've got a 2005 Hino 268 with a J08E. Seems to be a good truck.
There is a 2014 that is up for sale, and looking at adding to the collection. How is the J08E post EGR, def etc?
Now they're using the cummins B6.7 what that choice for reliability?
Unfortunately the Hino dealership here sucks badly, but I do have a great local mechanic.

Thanks

Jonathan

The 2014 is the last year of the burner system, and it's got a couple other technical things that make that year a little unique. The burner system isn't perfect, and to properly fix it he'll need software that can talk to the different modules.

The Cummins engine has some pros and cons compared to the Hino engine. Probably the biggest pro is that more mechanics are familiar with them.
