Thanks- I like to bust things up just to see if they break- and then try to fix them. I'm still convinced the minimalist approach to expediting equipment is the best way to go in this economy for one who runs solo, and any mechanical/electrical knowledge will help to make the old junk heap keep on truckin'.
It's the difference of a $2000/mo truck payment or spending a few hours on a weekend clearing up a few superficial problems.
And as one fixes the little problems they learn a lot about the truck as a whole and in turn know the things to carry with them in the truck to make common field repairs. I have been doing well business wise on this silly "philosophy."
