full step bumper (rear)

Hope you can help a little here.

Can you give me a ball park guess on how much a full step bumper could possibly weigh? The over all width is 96".

I have an empty weight issue going on here, and am seriously considering having the bumper removed and a icc type bumper installed to replace it.

It could weigh a few hundred pounds depending on how thick the metal is its made from. I see no loss in getting rid of it for an ICC bar, as if you have a handle on the box, the bar serves just fine for a step if you make it wide enough. It would be a good place to shed a few pounds off the truck.
