east of the mississippi

I've always read posting here on EO that would always say that most of the business is east of the mississippi. I dont know about everyone else but that trend seems to be changing, correct me if I'm wrong. I've met afew drivers that told me they did'nt have a problem getting out of the western or mid-western states.

even though there are many loads in the western states,most of the expedite business,is east of the mississippi river,there are many expedite trucks being loaded from out west,but if they are on a flat rate pay,they might not know whether it is an expedite or regular load that is being used as back haul.
