Death of a friend

Seasoned Expediter
I only knew Tony King for the last four weeks but felt I had known him my whole life. He started turning wrenches on diesels with his father at the age of twelve and sadly passed away this morning at the young age of 43 after being removed from life support. His death was the result of an inattentive driver who swerved into his lane to avoid rear ending a stopped car on a two lane road. The result was a head on collision and to make matters worse Tony was then rear ended by another car.

He was the only instructor of the "Heavy Diesel" course at West Central Technical College, Carrollton, Georgia of which I am currently enrolled. My idea was to learn about diesels before hitting the road again in expediting. He was a wealth of knowledge and loved teaching.

Tony is the gentleman on the right in the pic which is the last known photo of him - about 6 days ago in the shop.
You are greatly missed already my friend.
