OK my cats don't look too bad with one at 900,000 plus before a rebuild, and the red KW is at 500,000 and running well.
Then again, I just might be lucky?
Just bought another one last week.
Someone say a prayer for me.:7

How'd they do that?...I thought they had rev limiters to prevent overspeed...or was it a runaway? glad I'm not paying the freight on those repairs...

I sent the photos to the area Cummins rep when I was in the middle of the job. We speculated that the engine had hit in excess of 5000RPM.

There was no way to download any info as the ECM was destroyed by shrapnel!!!

I can only imagine the look on the face of the "towbar preson" when 4 connecting rods, large chunks of camshaft, cast iron chunks of engine block and the liquid contents of the engine began flying out from under the back of the truck!!!!!!
