Question. I have a "friend" who was awarded a dui in the early 80's. He was a stupid kid at the time. Now he has a passport and carrier who wants him to travel north. Can he move freight to Canada with no problems?

If he hasn't had any convictions since he should be ok as it's more than ten years ago.

If the DUI went on his record as a misdemeanor then he may need a Ministries Permit depending on his situation. I have a link saved I will post later when I get back in the truck that goes over the requirements.
