When a application asks for the present or last employer, what is the correct way to let them know that I am self-employed, owner operator of a single vehicle and leased on to a carrier?
Is the carrier supposed to be the "employer" even tho he is not?
And what is the correct way to state when an application asks if they may contact present or last employer? Last employer to contact is no problem, but "present", which is "myself"?

If your Applying to a carrier as a o/o then the last company you were leased to is your last Employer.And they will contact that Company if you tell them Yes they can contact last Employer.If you say No don't wait for them to call you. because you just failed the Interview Test.
