Not as bad as the closure of 40 a few years ago, but adds a bit of time to the trip.

We were on 77N the day of the slide. That "minor detour" took better than 2.5hrs to get through. The detour is well marked but takes quite a while to navigate between the lights and the traffic load. Plan accordingly.

Just went through the detour not too bad
They have flaggers set up through town to move traffic along really help
