How hard is it to find companies with dedicated runs in a straight truck ?? Atlanta to Chattanooga area.

I have my dat, but it's idea of a truck stop and mine don't always agree. The 595 truck stop was the only one I found, and I ain't paying to park. Drive up to Ft. Lauderdale and parked at Publix. Just picked up in Orlando heading to Vermont. Be safe

Lol.... Drove up to loves, just so I can take free showers everyday. Hopefully something comes in tomorrow. Was offered a load a load Friday picking up Monday morning, I turned it down, told them I needed a quicker PU. LOL, that was smart.

Took a load delivering in Laredo late Friday. I have now named every bird outside my window. Almost 48 hrs. now, sitting inside this truck.

Knowing I have a place like this with people looking out for each other, actually makes going into something new to me, seem a little easier. I will probably have many more questions, but this thread alone had answered a lot already.

I made that statement look different than what I meant. After the truck is sold, my obligations go down 1000 from 3500 to 2500. my bad.

Monthly obligations - 3,000 -3500. That is with the dump truck sitting out front not moving. Once it's sold, my obligations go down 1,000 a month.

This is only my thoughts on OTR. If I'm going to be on the road and away from home and the comfort of my couch, my bed, TV, my children and grandchildren, there should be compensation for that. Most people that drive OTR for weeks at a time, do it because 1) they love seeing the country and not...

1000 a week on flat rate is a little high. Was told once I start the hazmat WG side, I would be able to negotiate price on loads. At that point, 1000 each a week was possible. Dry box flat rate she said 800 each was possible.

Why would they say such a thing if it's not even close. It's pretty simple, if you tell a man he'll make xxx amount and gets out there and only makes x amount, my 3rd week will be spent headed homeward
