if I have less than a truck load .... 26' box truck ... 12 places .. I run singles back for two skids or three then double out ... with the long wheelbase of these trucks my company has it really helps ride and cornering. the closest I had to being over weight on steer was with a 17,000 lb...

I would say thermostat is stuck open .... have you tried a infared temp sensor on hoses to make sure gauge is right ? you can check the resistance range of sensor too ... to see if it is within spec

I never thought of the injector seals ..... what would explain alot .. did it run ruff when you were driving it to the pick up ? the kw can have a isc cummins or a pacar I've driven the pacar pulls nicely with a 6 spd ..... the cummins I drove had a auto (paclease rental) when my kw...

yeah that is what I was thinking .... and that soo sucks to have them bow out ... it just takes soo much r&d on these engines to get them to perfom with clean emissions .......it is just going to get rougher on trucks from here on .. ... I can't believe in some areas you can't find ultra...

I thought cat pulled out of the truck market ? or do they still do mid size engines? I wonder if you have a wiring fault from crappy material used in the wires .. corroding from the inside. I think the .00 #'s are resistance in the injector the high resistance overheats the injector...

palmer lease also does set up trucks .... on leases ... they have a nice t300 80" sleeper in indy right now ready to go .. I used to drive it last year .. paccar engine 6spd .. pulled hills nicely would have been better with 8spd in it though.... the new engines are alot harder to work...

I forgot about the egr system down there .... on the new ones ... I hope that helps maybe its a restriction in the egr system too .. on top of the sensor ..... good luck

every time I have been in florida I've had to go to atlanta to get a load out .. I've deadheaded all the way from ft.lauderdale out after waiting 2 days there then another day in orlando area .. very hard to find freight headed out of there. might do the ltl though .... might be a lil...
